NOW YOU KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT MY CHARACTER I’M GOING TO LET YOU KNOW A BIT ABOUT ME, NICCI/NICOLE. I’M SURE YOU’VE HEARD OF ME BEFORE RIGHT? I’M FIFTEEN YEARS OLD BUT IT’S NOT LIKE THAT’S IMPORTANT. IF YOU’RE INTERESTED MY OTHER CHARACTERS ON HERE ARE N/A, CHECK THEM OUT. I’VE BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR TWO YEARS, I CONSIDER MYSELF A PRO BY NOW. IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CONTACT ME ABOUT ANYTHING THAT HIT ME UP AT NICOLESaMONSTA@AIM.
Ashwood Academy, a school for the ‘ gifted ‘… or at least that’s what the board out in front of the school says. For some this place was like heaven. There were game rooms, tons of TVs, and even a bar. Oh, and lets not forget, you’re not really forced to go to class, and that means no homework. The only thing that the mentors here really made you do was practice your power so that you could some day get out of this place and face the ‘ real ‘ world. But there were a few kids out there who really saw this place for what it was. Hell. Yeah, this place was like hell on Earth. It was basically trapping students inside it’s large walls and hiding them from the outside world. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if they actually helped the students here, but the teachers did jack shit. Kristen was guessing that they spent all day in their dorms, hiding from the kids. Now that might sound a bit harsh and far fetched, but that was really how she felt. One, because she’d been attending the academy for about six months now and she still couldn’t block out the voices. And two, well, you never really saw any of the teachers around anyway. Sure they were in the class rooms every now and again, but they were never out and about, making sure that the students weren’t fighting with each other and getting into any trouble. So instead of keeping the peace at the school, they pretty much let the kids run the place. Kristen had seen it all. From kids cussing each other out, to actually fists fights. This place had it all. So, Kristen felt really bad for the kids who were too foolish to realize how aweful this school turly was.
The blue eyed girl sat up in her bed and stared at the black walls of her room. Silence filled her ears and she immedatly felt alone. And actually, after a bit of thinking, Kristen realized that she really was alone. She hadn’t really made any friends at her new school, except for a few here and there. Some of them were really amazing, and they even made her feel a little bit better about herself, but then the others were just sort of… there. But that was ok. Kristen didn’t really expect them to deal with someone like herself. She was just too quiet and shy to really grab anyone’s attention. And the girl really wasn’t looking for attention… but she had to admit, it was nice to have someone to talk to every now and again. Especially when that someone was a close friend, because then she could be herself and open up a little. But other then that Kristen just stayed locked up inside, hiding her thoughts and feelings from everyone else. She’d been living her life like this for the past seven years or so, and it wasn’t really that hard. All you really had to do was keep a straight face and not talk to anyone. Oh, and lets not forget, everything and eveyone had to scare the bajeebez out of you. ( But that part Kristen didn’t really have to put much effort into that part of it. ) So, she would go on, day by day, lost in her painful memories and surrounded by screaming voices.
With a heavy sigh falling from her lips, the small girl got out of bed and glanced at her mirror. She didn’t look that bad, and she wasn’t the type of girl who worried about her appearance. It wasn’t like she was trying to catch anyone’s eye right? Her crystal blue eyes flickered over to her alarm clock and she pink lips turned down when she saw the time. It was only twelve pm, and that meant it was still light outside and there were a lot of people still awake. She’d thought she’d been daydreaming for more then just one measly hour. It had seemed like she had been sitting in bed for five hours, not just one. Oh well. She was up now and there was no way she was going to lay back down. She wouldn’t last another minute inside. The walls already seemed to be closing in on her, so she needed to get outside and quickly. So, without a second thought, her hands found her sneakers and she quickly slipped them over her feet before tying the laces into a sloppy bow. Turning around she flew to the door and left her room.
There weren’t very many people out in the halls, which left the area just a little too quiet. Then suddenly a wave of loud screaming and yelling pounding inside of her ears. Now of course no one else would be able to hear all of this commotion, but she could and it made her heart beat faster and a sharp pain shot through her head. There were so many voices shouting at once! It was making it so hard for her to think, to see, to hear! How had they gotten past the barrier she had tried so hard to build? You lost concentration She told herself, trying so hard to keep herself from crying out in pain. You can get through this. You’ve done it before, so now’s no different. She chanted before finally breaking through the school doors.
The fresh air pretty much knocked Kristen off her feet, and slowly, the pressure in her head started to go down. And thankfully, the voices did too. It was now possible for the girl to think, but every now and again her thoughts would get mixed up with those of someone else. But that was ok. As long as she didn’t have to deal with that aweful pain in her head ever again, she was ok with the dull roar. Shaking it off, Kristen began walking toward the lawns, hoping it would be just a little more peaceful there.
After about five minutes, the fresh scent of cut grass filler her nose, automatically making her smile softly. She tilted her head up to the sky, letting the sunlight beam down on her pale face. It was beautiful outside! It was much better then it was inside, so she was glad that she had made the decision to come out here instead of staying in her room while waiting for the moon to take the place of the sun. Suddenly, Kristen felt that a mind was close by. This caused her to flash open her eyes and look down. There, only a few feet away from her, was a boy. He was shirtless and drinking… and that wasn’t good. ” Uh…h-hi. “ Kristen stuttered and dropped her gaze from him before blushing a bright red.
