Jet sat on the old bench, looking out across the water. He had agreed not too long ago to meet Danielle here, to watch the sunset. Jet liked sun sets, all the colors that the sky could make. It amazed him that something could look so beautiful. Jet sighed and felt the cool breeze sweep across his face. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back. Pictures danced across his memories has he thought, of random things. The light from the sun made his eyelids red, and it still hurt his eyes, even though they were closed. Then he opened his eyes and smiled. Now that he thought about it, it had been awhile since he watched the sun set. Jet was glad he agreed to meet Dani here. He felt quite peaceful, and was loving the moment.
Jet had his hands tucked into his pockets, the wind tousling his hair, his eyes squinting a bit in the sun, but in an almost attractive, brooding way. He pulled out his phone to check the time and he smiled. Man, he was early, but he was excited to watch the sun leave the Earth. Wow, that was kind of poetic...go Jet., he laughed at himself. Then he tucked his phone away and pulled out his iPod. He popped his headphones in and switched it to some Ill Scarlett, which was rather loud and didn't really fit with the moment, but he listened to it anyway. Nothing like some Ill Scarlett. It was one of his favorite bands.

Glancing out the window, Dani shut her laptop, moving the script in her lap to the desk. She'd just made plans to watch the sunset with a boy, whom she'd found quite good-looking. Dani wondered if he was seeing anyone, or if it would be OK to advance a little. Of course Dani wasn't a slut; in fact, she prefered to stay away from most sexual activity. Kissing was fine, but anything past that and she fled like a bat outta hell. She was really only worried that if that person were to find out her secret they'd flee as well. She grew up as a girl, or at least that's what she believed. Her father and twin sister had died in an accident, and then Dani was sent to live with her mother where she was then to believe she was a girl despite a few extra parts. It wasn't until she was seventeen that she was permanently made into a girl, via a sex changed. This wasn't something she chose to happen, the government had scheduled it as apart of rehabilitation after having massacred her summer school class the year previous.
Dani sighed and stood up, running a hand through her long brown hair, that seemed to never end. She made way to her bed, grabbing her brush, and running it through her hair. She knew that she didn't have a lot of time to fix herself, but it was enough. Dani quickly finished her hair, topping it with a cream top-hat that matched her dress perfectly. She adjusted the necklace and ring she wore, and put on her boots. Her style had always been a little off. Although it always looked good, it wasn't necessarily something one would see in Seventeen, or Vogue. All that mattered to her, was that it looked good, and that she was comfortable.
Once she was ready, Dani headed out the door, and headed straight for the lake. She wondered if the boy she was to meet would be there already, or if she were going to have to wait. It wasn't as though Dani didn't like arriving early, she just rather arrive on time. As she approached the lake, Dani noticed someone already there. It was a boy, and she hoped that it was the boy to whom she was to be meeting. She sat down next to him, glancing at him briefly. He looked a lot like his display picture, however, one would never know the authenticity of such things. Dani looked out at the lake, waiting for him to address him, rather than the other way around. She'd rather not be embarrassed if it really wasn't him.
